Influential people supported by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, attacked a public road in the center of Ibb Governorate, in central Yemen, and built innovations there, amid great popular rejection.
Local sources said that powerful Houthi leaders, supported by high-ranking Houthi leaders, attacked an area of the main street linking Ring and Al-Dhahoub, Medina and Al-Hosn in Al-Dhahar District (the governorate center), and began building on it.
In the context, the people of the "Homes of Aden" area carried out a protest to condemn the Houthi attacks on the public street.
The protesters demanded the leadership of the local authority appointed by the Houthis to stand with the people of the province and stop the violations that affect the public street.
During the years of the coup, robbery gangs were active on public lands and properties in Ibb governorate, with the support of influential Houthi leaders.
