Mocha..a local official calls for special police to monitor beachgoers

Mocha, NewsYemen, private:

 RThe Director of the Information, Tourism and Culture Office in the Mocha Directorate, Jalal Mansour, demanded, on Tuesday, the creation of a special police, to monitor beachgoers and control their behavior.

Mansour told NewsYemen that his desire to conduct permanent patrols comes against the background of his office receiving complaints from families subjected to harassment.

He added that the presence of the police concerned with apprehending people who commit inappropriate behavior is enough to provide a calm atmosphere for families lining up on the sea.

He pointed out that many families go to the beach to escape the hot weather inside the homes, but some of the visitors disturb the calm atmosphere, by using inappropriate phrases or doing a behavior that disturbs families, such as sitting in nearby places, for example.

He stressed that these behaviors occur in many cities, but the lack of patrols on the Mocha beach makes the behavior of some undisciplined.
