Socotra, NewsYemen:

The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works pumped in the Socotra archipelago, on Wednesday, large quantities of oil and diesel;  To cover the needs of the local market, which witnessed a severe crisis in the previous days.

This step came after the Emirati oil vessel completed unloading its cargo of oil and diesel at Socotra port.  To meet the requirements of different service sectors.

An official source at the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works indicated that the current amount of oil will contribute to securing the needs of the service and economic sectors, including electricity and transportation.

The Emirati ship, which arrived last Sunday in Socotra, succeeded in breaking the bad marine climate, high waves and strong winds.

The people of Socotra valued the UAE's keenness to provide the island's needs, including oil derivatives, which suffered from continuous exhaustion during previous periods.
