Shabwa Transitional Council is waving the military option to confront Brotherhood terrorism

The local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, in Shabwa (southern Yemen), said on Saturday that the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, resorted to violence and repression, revealing the fact that its militias are small, weak and confused in front of the people of the province.
In an official statement, she added, the Brotherhood's militia transformed the Nisab Directorate into a military barracks by bringing in dozens of crews, armored vehicles, tanks and soldiers, and bombing the Abadan and Jabba areas with heavy weapons to stop the process of mass influx and intimidation.
The statement continued, "The Brotherhood's militia also raided the venue of the mass event in the Abadan region and stormed the concert platform," considering this as evidence of "the extent of the dwarfness and weakness of this militia in front of peaceful demonstrators."
It stressed that the people of Shabwa will defend themselves, their people, their property and their areas - as a right guaranteed by all heavenly laws, laws and charters - in the face of the growing violations against freedoms and the Brotherhood's resort to the policy of repression and intimidation.
The statement called on the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council to fulfill what was committed in yesterday's statement (Friday), and to find out what is happening with a declared position in light of the failure of the other party (legitimacy) of the negotiating process and its permanent obstruction to the implementation of the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement.
The leadership of the Shabwa Transitional Council said in its statement that the mass activity succeeded remarkably well even before it began, revealing the fact that the militias based on force and coming from Marib have failed and will fail to change the conviction of the people of Shabwa that it must leave forever.
They saluted all the sons of Shabwa who poured in torrents in order to express their national and humanitarian position by their adherence to their right and the right of their beloved governorate to freedom and dignity and to remove the nightmare of tyranny and terrorism.
