A lawyer was killed and an officer was wounded by unidentified gunmen in Taiz

Taiz, NewsYemen:

 Unidentified gunmen assassinated a lawyer and seriously wounded an officer, late Sunday evening, south of the city of Taiz in central Yemen.

A local source told (NewsYemen) that unknown masked gunmen on a motorcycle assassinated a lawyer and wounded an officer in the Political Security, last night in Al-Jumhouri Quarter.

According to the source, the lawyer, Hisham Abdel Bari, Hazaa Moqbel Al-Absi, was killed and the officers in the Political Security, Brigadier Abdo Melhi, were wounded.

It is noteworthy that the Brotherhood’s militias impose full control over the city of Taiz and the countryside south and west of the governorate, and their gangs are involved in carrying out physical assassinations of their opponents.
