With the complicity of legitimacy... the 19th Brigade fell into the hands of the Houthis in Al-Bayda

Aden, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - seized the sites and weapons of a military brigade affiliated with "legitimacy", in the axis of Al-Bayda Governorate in central Yemen.

Military sources told "NewsYemen" that the Houthi militia launched a massive attack, yesterday, on the "Fadha" front in Al-Bayda, and seized the positions of the 19th Brigade.

It explained that the Houthi militia took control of large areas, in the Fadhah and Al-Malajim front, and seized heavy weapons.

According to the sources, the Houthi militia seized a tank, two 23-caliber machine guns, in addition to various calibers 12.7/14.5, and assorted cannons, the numbers of which were not mentioned.

It indicated that the positions of the legitimate forces on the front were devoid of fighters, during the Houthi attack, except for small groups of soldiers, while hinting that what happened was with the complicity of army leaders loyal to the Brotherhood.

The sources pointed out that the fallen brigade does not owe full loyalty to the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, stressing that the brigade left without real support what enabled the Houthis to eliminate it.
