Aden, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, stipulated that the Arab coalition’s operations be halted, and its forces should permanently withdraw from the country, before talking about any moves towards political negotiations.

The militia's requirements came, this time, on the words of its leader, Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, during a speech broadcast by the group's mouthpiece, Al-Masirah channel, on the occasion of the new Hijri year.

Al-Houthi said, "There are conditions and demands that must be implemented before talking about any initiative or political negotiations, which are: stopping the raids, lifting the siege, and withdrawing foreign forces, and anything else is impossible."

He added that it is impossible to stop the fighting before these demands and conditions are implemented.

He continued, "The battle is a necessary and inevitable battle, and there is no alternative to it but surrender," confirming the group's insistence on going to war to the fullest extent.

The militia leader ordered "to continue to supply the fighting fronts, and to have a double activity in the process of mobilization, strengthening the home front and developing the military and security performance, because the battle is big," he claimed.

Al-Houthi also called on his followers to move politically and in the media and in all fields to confront steadily and without weakness or apathy those whom he described as "enemies."

The Houthi militia, with Iran behind it, is seeking to neutralize the Arab coalition from the war in Yemen, so that it can crawl over the areas that are still outside its control, easing the obstacle of air raids, and introduce more shipments of smuggled weapons through the ports under its control.
