Warning against being silent about the currency collapse: famine for generations to come

A wave of severe price hikes swept through the main food products, various services and fuel, with the stabilization of delayed employee salaries.

And the Yemeni riyal fell to rock bottom in the previous days, after it recorded 1040 Yemeni riyals per dollar, while it recorded 270 per Saudi riyal.  Exchange shops refuse to sell at the agreed-upon prices, while buying currency from citizens at the lowest price.

And political journalist, Abdul Rahman Anis, warned against the continued deterioration of the value of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies, stressing that silence about this collapse would lead to starvation.

Anis recalled the silence of the people of Lebanon previously, when the dollar reached 1500 pounds, and they dealt with it as a fait accompli and with political tension, until the price of one dollar reached 19,200 pounds.

He stressed that the currency will not stop at this point, which will lead to starvation that will reach even future generations.

 Hadi obstructs military dues

 In conjunction with the deterioration of the living situation of citizens, the suffering of members of the armed forces has entered its eighth month amid an intentional obstruction. It was recently proven that Hadi and his government were behind the decision to prevent its dismissal.

The editor-in-chief of the Army newspaper, "Ali Muqrat", confirmed in a statement that Hadi had renewed confidence in the bank's management and standing behind the decision to prevent salaries, explaining that officials told him about the bank's readiness to disburse the entire year's salaries at once and that they were only waiting for instructions.

 Fixed salaries from time immemorial

The citizen faces all these crises with a fixed salary that is not exposed to any kind of increase at all. On the other hand, people with low incomes and daily wage workers who face insane rises in the prices of basic commodities for living face insane prices.

The suffering of the people has not ended with all the successive crises they receive, on the other hand, the prices of renting imaginary homes have burdened the citizen, while the greed of merchants resorted to pricing in Saudi riyals and dollars, and the rents of ordinary apartments reached the limits of one thousand Saudi riyals and furnished apartments 2000, while the price of small houses was recorded  A room consisting of one or two rooms has a limit of 100,000 Yemeni riyals, which is not commensurate with salaries that do not exceed 80,000 Yemeni riyals.
