Joint forces dismantle 60 Houthi explosive devices in Hodeidah

On Sunday, the joint forces dismantled 60 explosive devices, planted by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in separate areas around the city of Hodeidah in the west of the country.

A military source in the joint forces stated that the engineering teams extracted, during a survey, approximately 60 explosive devices, some of them weighing 50 kilograms.

According to the source, the engineering teams are working at a high pace to clear large areas east of the city of Hodeidah from minefields and IEDs planted by the Houthi militia indiscriminately and in regular fields.

He stressed that the joint forces are working with all their efforts, in an effort to save civilians from an imminent disaster that may affect them as a result of mines and explosive devices of various shapes and sizes planted by the Houthi militia on main and secondary roads, farms, and public and private properties of citizens.
