Organized by the people for the people, nor for "Al Murshid" or "Al Sayed".. The mass party and the ill-fated president

Sana'a, NewsYemen, private:

While President Saleh was insisting on stepping down from the presidency while he was present at an extraordinary meeting of the Standing Committee of the General People's Congress, many stood in the middle of the hall, waving to the president and begging him not to step down.

Many took the microphone, some of them now from groups (February 2011), telling President Saleh what Yemen would be like after him if he did not change his decision.

One of them, standing confidently and waving to the audience in the hall, said that many sheikhs or officials will turn into disasters and some of them will seek to declare a state on their own.

The phrase was surprising and surprising to everyone, but it came back to mind prominent years later when many leaders jumped from the conference to join the February group and contribute to the sabotage of Yemen later, along with the political religion group.

The General People's Congress embodied a unique political precedent in the Arab world as a popular party far from extremist ideology and imported theories. All factions joined it with the aim of building Yemen on solid foundations based on the "National Charter" formulated by many loyal patriots.

Therefore, the General People’s Congress was not an outside organization or imported thought as much as it was a purely Yemeni experience and thought, which the Yemenis brought to the Yemenis, unlike many imported political parties that brought their ideas, ideologies and theories from outside the borders and geography of Yemen.

Therefore, the GPC, during its decades of rule, recorded the approach of moderation and dealing with all citizens without partisan or political discrimination, and this is one of the greatest advantages of the GPC as a mass organization from the people to the people.

Throughout the period of the GPC’s rule, any citizen of another party was able to turn to any leader or conference official to mediate or recommend him for a benefit without hesitation, because he would simply receive what he wanted, unlike the rest of the Yemeni parties, which scrutinize the political background, card and affiliation  an oath of loyalty and disavowal.

This confirms the simplicity and identity of the purely Yemeni organization.

The General People’s Congress constituted a pioneering historical experience in Yemen under the leadership of President Ali Abdullah Saleh and alongside him a group of pioneering thinkers and politicians, such as Dr. Ahmed Al-Asbahi and Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Iryani, who presented their ideas for the success of this pioneering political institution, along with many loyal men and women who founded the organization of the conference.

Although many politicians and interested people viewed the Congress Party as just a conglomerate of amateur interests in that its president is the president of the country and that it will vanish without his presence, but that has never happened as much as it has been exposed to a rift since February 2011 and we think that whoever tried to penetrate this rift or get out of  The party is a scum that should have been expelled, and the leaders of February contributed to the rift and division of Yemen and its subsequent fragmentation as a whole in one way or another.

As soon as President Saleh abdicated to his Vice President Hadi in accordance with the chronic Gulf agreement, the setback was and what someone said at the time in one of the special sessions of the Permanent Committee about the fragmentation of Yemen and that every official or sheikh would make himself a state, and thus things collapsed under Hadi, who turned Yemen into Yemen for the president  Instead, he was the president of Yemen.

Yesterday's allies quarreled to blow up all of Yemen under Hadi, and they had previously agreed in the arena against the Congress, Saleh, Yemen and the people.

The poor, bad, and even terrorist model that was presented by some opposition parties yesterday and ruling Islamists today made people have mercy on Saleh and suffer for the conference, and curse revolutions and revolutions wherever they occur and remain.

On the 39th anniversary of the founding of the pioneering Yemeni party, we hope that all congressmen will return to a common word so that the brilliance of the organization that was founded by the people for the sake of the people, not for the sake of the sheikh, the master or the guide returns.
