Aden, NewsYemen:

On Wednesday night, the Arab coalition announced that the Saudi defenses had intercepted a booby-trapped Houthi drone that tried to carry out an attack on Abha International Airport.

The coalition said in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency that the fragments of the intercepted plane scattered and fell in the vicinity of Abha internal airport, injuring four people with minor injuries, in addition to shattering glass of some facades.

The coalition considered that the Houthi attempt to target civilians at Abha Airport as a civilian airport constitutes a war crime, stressing that operational measures are being taken to neutralize the threat sources used in the attempt to attack Abha Airport.

In addition, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the destruction of the launch site of the booby-trapped drone in Saada Governorate, indicating that the targeting included the launch pad and the booby-trapped and launch crew.

Earlier on Wednesday evening, the coalition announced the interception and destruction of two drones in Al-Jawf Governorate, after they were prepared to carry out an imminent hostile act towards Saudi Arabia.

The coalition stated that a site in Al-Jawf Governorate was destroyed by the Houthi militia - Iran's arm in Yemen - used to bomb and launch drones.
