The General Electricity Corporation in the capital, Aden, revealed the reason for the increase in the number of hours of power cuts in the governorate.
The Corporation stated that the increasing number of hours of power outage was due to a technical defect in the boilers of the Al-Haswa station, after a switch exploded in the 33k.v transport circuits at the Khor Maksar station, on Tuesday.
Coinciding with a heat wave in the capital, the number of hours of power outage increased to about 5 to 6 hours, according to the areas with heavy loads.
