The fronts of Marib Governorate are witnessing violent battles between government forces and tribes on the one hand, and the Houthi militia on the other.

Military sources told NewsYemen that the Houthi militia launched a large-scale attack, at dawn on Monday, on government forces' positions in Jabal Murad, and according to the sources, the forces managed to repel the attack and left Houthis dead and wounded, while 8 tribesmen were martyred and others were wounded.

In the Abdiya front, south of Marib, the battles continue for the fourth day in a row along the defense line extending from Jabal al-Wael through Sha’ab Khirfan to al-Hajla to al-Mukhdara, to Maisarat Ablah and the Makhlaq front.

According to the sources, the Houthi militia advanced significantly on those fronts and lost dozens of its fighters in the battles, while the number of martyrs of tribesmen rose within four days to 33 martyrs and dozens of wounded who lacked minimal health services as a result of the siege imposed by the militia for the twentieth day.

According to field sources, the fiercest battles continued between the National Army and the Houthi militia on many fronts of the Juba District.

The western fronts of the governorate also witnessed violent confrontations, centered on the al-Kasara and al-Mushajah fronts, following a series of Houthi militia attacks that were accompanied by artillery bombardment of the National Army targeting fortifications and reinforcements of the militia on the al-Kasara, al-Mushajah and Hailan fronts.
