Aden, NewsYemen:

The Prime Minister, Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik, held an expanded session of talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Mostafa Madbouly, in the Egyptian capital.

On Sunday, the Prime Minister left the capital, Aden, on an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and it is expected to be followed by official visits to other countries.

During the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Egyptian Cabinet, Madbouly reiterated Egypt's position that a political solution is the best way to the Yemeni crisis, stressing the rejection of attempts to impose a fait accompli by force.

Madbouly said that Egypt believes that a political solution is the best way to the Yemeni crisis, and that it rejects attempts to impose a fait accompli by force.

The Egyptian Prime Minister stressed that his country rejects attempts to undermine the freedom and security of navigation in the Arabian Gulf and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and stresses the need not to prejudice this vital navigational artery that affects regional and international security and stability.

He pointed to Egypt's keenness to coordinate efforts between the countries bordering the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden in the process of securing navigation through the Bab al-Mandab strait.

In this context, Madbouly noted the seriousness of the repercussions of the floating oil tank "Safer", which has witnessed oil leaks over the past six years in a way that threatens the environment and marine navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The Egyptian Prime Minister stressed the need to mobilize efforts to confront this environmental catastrophe, pointing to Egypt's readiness to provide all necessary technical support in this regard.
