The heroes of the Fifth Brigade were able, at dawn on Thursday, October 28, 2021, to confront and thwart the fiercest attack launched by the Houthi militia on the brigade’s positions in the Hawamrah front east of Al-Rahda Karesh.
According to the assertion of the leader of the front, Al-Abd Jaber Ali, the heroes of the Fifth Brigade, were able to confront the violent attack and Houthi infiltration after violent confrontations in which all heavy and medium weapons were used, forcing them to retreat and withdraw after incurring losses in life and equipment.
The commander of the Karesh front confirmed that the Houthi militia had sent huge reinforcements during the past two days, with the aim of controlling the strategic Jabal Lahmar positions, and the front's situation is still unstable, and the outbreak of clashes in the coming hours.
The commander of the front, Al-Abd Jaber, said that the forces of the Fifth Brigade were supported in the Hawamra, Hamala and Thamran al-Gharib fronts, east of Karesh, on readiness and combat readiness to confront any attack launched by the Houthi militia on their positions.
