Family crimes are among the most heinous crimes that have grown and emerged remarkably in most of the Yemeni governorates that are under the control of the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen.

Most of these heinous crimes were committed by elements returning from sectarian courses set up by the militias with the aim of implanting terrorist ideas inspired by the Iranian approach, without caring about tearing and destroying the Yemeni social fabric.

The last crime was recorded at the beginning of Ramadan, it was recorded for one of the returnees from the Houthi courses from the village of Shajina in the Mansouriya district of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen. The attack left behind five of his family, including his daughter, her husband and three of her children, and his sister and her daughters-in-law were seriously injured.

The perpetrator was returning from a cultural course held by the Houthi militia under the umbrella of "publishing the Qur'anic march", but his return to his home was a catastrophe that afflicted the people of the district, the governorate and the country, due to the horror of the crime he had committed against his family members.

In the Al-Jarrahi district, south of Al-Hodeidah, one of those involved in the ranks of Al-Houthi committed a heinous crime, as he killed his mother after returning from the battle fronts. This caused a state of shock among the citizens of the district.

Crimes are on the rise

In Amran Governorate, a Houthi gunman opened fire in a popular market in Al-Hidd, where the Houthi, Khaled Al-Ansour, who was appointed director of the Al-Soud Directorate in Amran, killed his mother and brother while they were on their way to the center of the province, to spend the month of Ramadan.

In the same governorate, a Houthi gunman named Ali Dahan killed his mother and sister, after a verbal altercation, which disparaged the militia master, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi. The gunman demanded that his mother and sister hand over the gold they had, repeating, "Sir, the crown of my head is worth the gold."

The Houthi supervisor, Ahmed Manser Al-Nizari (Rageh) in the village of Al-Jamalah in the Al-Haima Al-Dakhiliyah region, killed his father after his return from the Nehm front, while he was eating dinner, and despite the grandfather's demand for retribution, it has not yet been implemented.

Also, the returnee from the Houthi fronts, Hammoud Muhammad Hassan, to his village in Al-Hima Al-Dakhiliyah, killed his father and separated his head from his body in the jambiya, after the son asked his father and brothers to go to the fronts to defend the militias. When he met the rejection of his father and brothers, his father replied that the Houthis were lying to him, which stirred up the young man, who was loaded with misguided ideas, and committed his crime against his father.

In the Hajjah governorate, in the Kushar district, a Houthi gunman named Sultan Faris al-Dawudi, Abu Azrael, killed his father, after returning from the Haradh front, with thirty bullets, after he tied his hands and feet.

In the Atmeh district of Rayma governorate, a Houthi gunman named Abd Rabbo Thabet, nicknamed "Abu Sarim," killed his wife (A.M.A.), a 36-year-old mother of four, and injured his mother, Saadia Mahmoud, 57. , in his house in one of the villages of the Atma district, west of Dhamar governorate, because of their insistence on him to stay with them and not go with the Houthis.

In Al-Mahweet Governorate, the Houthi gunman, Muhammad Ali Al-Harazi, from the Hafash district, killed his father and mother while they were fasting, because they called on the Houthis and their leader.

In Taiz Governorate, from the village of Al-Zouha, Sharaab Al-Salam, Salim Saddam Al-Hajj returned from a training camp for the Houthi militia. A few days later, he committed his crime by stabbing his mother with a knife, then trying to kill his father, who tried to prevent him, and severely wounded him and his brother.

Brainwashing.. the first stage

Fathia Al-Maamari, Director of the General Office for Human Rights in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, said that these family crimes occurred with hundreds committed by people who were attracted by the Houthi militia and were sectarianly indoctrinated through cultural courses in which they were brainwashed and trained militarily in affiliated camps.

Al-Maamari added, in a special statement to "NewsYemen": The crime that occurred during the day in the month of Ramadan was committed by the researcher, "Hussein Al-Ra'wi", one of the sons of the Beit Al-Faqih Directorate, who killed his daughter, her husband, and their three children, and wounded his sister with a gunshot wound upon his return after three months of a Houthi sectarian and military course. The perpetrator participated in it, which is one of dozens of similar crimes committed in Tihama.

Al-Maamari explained that the Houthi terrorist militia, since its occupation of Yemen and Hodeidah Governorate, has spread sectarianism, regionalism and ethnicity by instilling extraneous concepts targeting all segments of society with many misconceptions and beliefs that are promoted and spread among their fighters or residents of areas under their control.

Different ways

The Houthi militia forces the residents of the governorates under their control to attend religious courses, seminars and lectures given by their extremist leaders, and even bartered humanitarian aid and citizens' needs by attending these events.

Fathia Al-Maamari, Director of the General Office for Human Rights in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, added that the Houthi militia's methods are different, including the establishment of so-called cultural courses, which are compulsory sectarian and brainwashing courses, targeting Yemeni children and youth, government and private sector employees, as well as employees of the security sectors, either by enticement. or intimidation.

Al-Maamari explained that the summer centers set up by the Houthi militia for children in areas under their control are considered the biggest crime and violation against childhood, because the Houthi militia transforms children inside these centers into explosive belts that control them as they wish, as the Houthi militia brainwashes the children of Yemen by instilling concepts Hatred of life and love of death for the sake of those who call themselves the pure race represented by the leader of the gang Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

Big danger..

In turn, the Minister of Information, Tourism and Culture, Muammar Al-Eryani, explained that the results of the sectarian courses held by the Houthi militia showed their results through the heinous crimes committed by the returnees from these courses against their family members.

He added that organizing "cultural courses" by the Houthis aims to spread its extremist ideas imported from Iran, in a serious threat to the social fabric, including provoking violence and religious extremism, harming education and learning by luring young people to participate in the fighting, influencing family values and principles, and distorting facts. , and the threat to public freedoms and human rights.

Al-Eryani said that these crimes confirm the imminent and continuous danger posed by the Houthi militia to security and civil peace, and the severity of the brainwashing they are subjected to, their mobilization with extremist terrorist ideas imported from Iran, and the brutality they practice against the people closest to them, not to mention the rest of society.
