The leaders of the political organizations and parties in Al-Hodeidah governorate unanimously agreed on the need to open the closed roads, the most important of which is the Hays-Al-Jarrahi road, as this is a humanitarian necessity to alleviate the suffering of citizens. In statements to (Newsyemen), the leaders held the United Nations and its mission in Hodeidah (UNMHA) responsible for what the militia practices against civilians, its intransigence to all international resolutions, and its failure to implement any clauses of international agreements, pointing out that the practices of Iran's arm exacerbated the suffering of citizens and forced them to travel long distances that take 48 hours during their transportation from Al-Jarrahi to Hays, which is no more than 27 kilometers away.

On Tuesday, the city of Hays witnessed a community stand by the people of Tihama to express their condemnation of the continued closure of the Hays-Al-Jarrahy road by the terrorist Houthi militia, stressing that the closure of this road and other roads and crossings in the rest of the governorates is a war crime against civilians and a flagrant violation of their rights guaranteed by divine laws and charters. international covenants and agreements.

The head of the General People's Congress branch in Hays district, Muhammad Humaidan, told (NewsYemen): "We in the General People's Congress and all political parties call on the United Nations and the international community to pressure the Houthi militia to open the crossings to facilitate the passage of citizens and distance them from confrontations or war, because this is a humanitarian aspect." Special", stressing the need to separate the human side from the political conflict.

In turn, the leader of the Yemeni Islah Party in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, Rifaat Al-Ghalisi, pointed out the importance of this stand, which includes all the districts of Tihama with all its political, civil, popular and official blocs, in order to deliver a strong message to the international community and then to the Houthi militia of the importance of stopping these practices and opening roads, adding that This stand will convey a message that the various political parties have become one party, the Republic Party and the one Yemen Party, which will restore the Republic from the Houthi gangs.

He said in a special statement: "We call on the United Nations with all its delegates and committees to come down to the ground to see the extent of the suffering of the Yemeni society and Tihama in particular because of the road closures, which are multiplying day after day."

As for the head of the branch of the National Democratic Front in Hays, Abbas Fetini Tira, he pointed out the importance of opening the Al-Jarrahi-Hays road, as it is an outlet for all people, explaining that once the roads are opened, commercial activity will flourish.

He told (Newsyemen): "The issue needs pause and sincere intention, and this is a human aspect for the sake of people living. People do not feel the crisis of the existing war, and everyone is preoccupied with the great psychological concerns that the war produced. Many are without work. If they opened the Hays-Al-Jarrahi road and all roads, they would be considered They have accomplished the greatest unparalleled humanitarian achievement at this particular time."

Tira criticized the Stockholm Agreement signed between the legitimate government and the Houthi militia, pointing out that it is ink on paper and has no implementation on the ground.

Tira stressed the need for the United Nations and the international community to have a serious and noticeable stance away from statements and sessions that did not force the obstinate Houthi to implement the terms of the agreement.

In turn, the Secretary of the Arab Baath Party branch in Hays, Awad Abdo Rajeh, indicated that opening the crossings is a popular and official demand, and it will facilitate the citizen to move easily and comfortably without suffering, reviewing the suffering of moving between Al-Jarrahi and Hays due to the interruption of the main road and the use of the alternative.

He told (NewsYemen): "The government side implements everything dictated to it by the United Nations and countries with international influence, while the Houthis did not implement anything, and we expected more than once in the Kuwait and Geneva talks and other talks that the Houthis would be pressured and subjected to international resolutions, but to no avail." And we call on the United Nations and the countries following the Yemeni file to press with all their might to get rid of these problems and suffering that we are experiencing day after day.

For his part, the secretary of the Nasserite People's Unionist Organization, Hays branch, Muhammad Saeed Hazbar, described the Stockholm Agreement as a "sinister agreement" by all standards, pointing to the Houthis' tampering with the agreement amid international impotence and silence about it.

He told (NewsYemen): "People have become affected by the closure of roads between the directorates and governorates because of the United Nations and its negligence and laxity with the Houthi militia. People suffer scourges: poverty, ignorance, disease, and other concerns."

He added, "We hope the Presidential Leadership Council in general and the member of the Presidential Leadership Council, head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, to do something for the sake of the country."

First Secretary of the Socialist Party branch in Hays, Abdu Ali Khishin, confirmed that opening roads for Hays is very important.. Pointing out that the Hays-Al-Jarrahy road is a main artery linking three governorates: Hodeidah, Taiz, as well as Ibb, which are the most populous governorates of the Republic. 

He told (Newsyemen): "Sick families and citizens pay a heavy price in order to reach hospitals or their areas, which used to take only minutes, and now they travel in hours exceeding one or two days," calling on the United Nations and the international community to pay attention to the humanitarian side and pressure the Houthis to open the Hays road. And on Wednesday, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, renewed the reminder that the joint forces unilaterally opened the “Hais” road months ago, and announced last week, in the name of the Leadership Council, the renewal of the initiative as an inherent right for the people of Tihama to move around in their districts, and every military force guards its area like all open roads.
