Abdullah bin Zayed: Iranian chaos has turned Yemen into a war field
English - Thursday 22 November 2018 الساعة 03:18 pmUAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed accused Iran of spreading chaos in the region.
"Without the Iranian interference in Yemen, we would have seen the Yemeni crisis ended long ago with less losses and a stable situation for our brothers in Yemen," Bin Zayed said in an exclusive interview with Sky News.
He added that Alliance Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen is defend of the Yemeni people rights and provide the best means of living.
He stressed that the region faces several challenges, both in Iraq and in Syria and Libya, in addition to the Iranian challenge.
"Iran is a neighboring country and a country worthy of being like any other country that wants to develop and serve its people, but the Iranian leadership has not prioritized the service of the Iranian people," he said.
"Iran could be a partner for the region and would serve its citizens if it were to take an approach that focuses on development, peace and stability instead of spreading chaos in the region," he said.
"We hope there will be minds that want stability in Iran and the region to change this Iranian approach," he concluded.
