Houthis storm al-Hamzi's house in Capital Sana'a
English - Thursday 27 December 2018 الساعة 09:20 amHouthi militias stormed a house of a member at the Yemeni Oil Company Mohammed al-Hamzi in Shoub district in the Capital Sana'a on Thursday.
The militias arrested al-Hamzi's brother and looted al-Hamzi's car. Mohammed al-Hamzi was able to escape from the house because of security harassment.
Al-Hamzi, whose salary is suspended by the militias, was known his fighting against corruption at the Yemeni Oil Company.
Al-Hamzi accused Abu Abdullah, a Houthi security supervisor, Ebrahim al-Wadee, Khaled Qames, Mohammed Baker, and Mohammed Abbas of storming his house and looting his car.
Al-Hamzi's brother was interrogated for about an hour about his brother's whereabouts before being released. They refused to return the car and informed al-Hamzi's brother that they would not return the car only after the presence of Mohammed al-Hamzi himself.
