Iran's oil finances Houthis via al-Hodeida port in fake documents
English - Sunday 27 January 2019 الساعة 05:06 pmThe UN Team's Report, submitted to the UN Security Council, accused Houthis of getting large amounts of taxes of oil donated by Iran.
The amounts of the taxes could reach tens of millions of dollars per a month.
The report reveals that Iranian oil (an Iranian donation to the Houthis) is imported via al-Hodeida seaport with fake papers, indicating that there is an origin in Oman, although the real origin for the imported oil is in Iran.
This allows the oil vessels to escape inspections by the Arab Coalition or the United Nations at sea.
