Army in Taiz repulses militias' attack al-Aqrod, al-Rubaie fronts
English - Wednesday 27 March 2019 الساعة 05:15 pmThe 35th Armored Brigade forces on Wednesday repulsed a heavy attack carried out by the Houthi militias at al-Aqrod front, south-east of Taiz province.
A military source in the front said to Newsyemen that the brigade forces forced the Houthi militias to retreat after launching a violent attack on their sites accompanied by artillery shelling, explaining that the army forces broke the attack, leaving direct casualties among the militias.
In al-Dhabab front, the army repelled the Houthi militias attack on al-Sayahi, southwest of Taiz city.
The army forces fought violent confrontations against the militias on the threshold of the valley of Harethan and Mukana, al-Khandaq hills, in the vicinity of al-Sayahi area, killing and wounding among the coup, forcing them to retreat.
According to the source, the army artillery targeted accurately the Houthi sites and their gatherings in al-Rubaie area, killing and injuring among them, including the destruction of their military vehicles.
