Al-Houthi militia launched a violent attack on Wednesday evening, targeting the locations of the joint forces stationed in Hays, south of Al-Hodeidah, and the militia received a crushing defeat among their fighters.
The field leader of the Hays front, Majed Balkhli, told Newsyemen that the heroes of the fifth and sixth battalions stationed in the Hays front in the 7th Brigade crushed a violent Houthi attack carried out by the militia towards the front sites from the north and northeast.
Majed Balkhli explained that this attack is the first and most violent of its kind that was planned from the month of Ramadan, but was soon broken in the steadfastness of the heroes of the forces stationed in the Hays front.
Balkhli emphasized that during the attack, the militias used various medium and heavy machine guns, including the WP 23, and the various artillery and missile shells, most of which landed near residential areas.
He pointed out that the attacking elements had inflicted heavy losses on the ranks of their fighters and their entice and forced them to flee, leaving the bodies of their dead and wounded.
