France condemned, on Friday, the assassination of journalist and photographer Nabil Al-Qaiti in Aden on June 2.
The French Foreign Ministry said that while freedom of the press and the safety of journalists are being attacked more and more, France reiterates the need to protect them throughout the Yemeni territory.
France confirmed its adherence to freedom of the press and the safety of journalists and all who contribute to public debate throughout the world.
It intends to continue its determined efforts to protect journalists and salutes journalists who have been killed, tortured, detained or threatened as a result of their commitment to the right to reliable and independent information.
