Shabwa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Doctors in the second largest hospital in Shabwa governorate have complained about the neglect of the local authority in the governorate.

Azzan Hospital in Shabwa serves 4 districts, Radoum, Mayfa'a, Al Rawdah and Habban.

Doctors at the hospital told "NewsYemen" that the salaries of the foreign medical mission have been suspended for a long time, calling on the governor of Shabwa, Muhammad bin Adiu, to pay attention to them and pay their dues.

The doctors also appealed to increase the fuel allowance for the hospital, as they said that the 3,500 liters that are given to him every month are not sufficient from a week to ten days.

The doctors also called on the authorities to provide oxygen cylinders, as Azzan Hospital is in urgent need of oxygen in light of a major outbreak of the Corona pandemic in the four Shabwa districts.

It is noteworthy that philanthropists have supplied Azzan Hospital with oxygen cylinders during the past few days, amid the local authorities' neglect and lack of interest in the health sector.
