The director of the Mocha Directorate, Basem Al-Zoriqi, revealed, on Wednesday, that the number of Corona deaths in the district has increased to 6.
In his meeting with a number of working organizations, Al-Zoriqi said that the health sector in the district lacks the simplest capabilities, stressing that the stage calls for humanitarian organizations to stand by and support it in these circumstances.
Al-Zoriqi pledged to reconsider the work of organisations that have no tangible impact in light of the spread of the pandemic.
To that, Nasr Askar, Deputy Director of the Governorate Health Office for Coastal Directorates Affairs, and Director of the Health Office Branch in the District, Dr. Samiha Jameel, a list of the treatments the isolation center needs.
On the other hand, Al-Zoriqi met with members of the committee formed according to the decision of the governor of the province to confront the Covid-19 epidemic.
Al-Zoriqi presented the committee members with a number of instructions that should be implemented quickly to confront the spread of the epidemic.
He also discussed with the coordinator of the Humanitarian Cell for the National Resistance, Abdullah Al-Hobeishi, the response shown by the leadership of the National Resistance, represented by Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, with the appeals of the health isolation center in the directorate.
Al-Hubaishi confirmed that a quantity of devices, equipment, oxygen cylinders and other requirements for facing the epidemic are on their way to the directorate provided by the leader of the National Resistance.
