The Pentagon makes recommendations to return Al-Houthi to the terrorist list, and the CIA supports it

 The US Department of Defense said, on Tuesday, that it had made recommendations to the US administration to reclassify the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization with a regional threat.

The Pentagon confirmed, in statements to Sky News Arabia, that the CIA supports the Pentagon's assessment of designating the Houthis as a terrorist organization.

 It said that the Houthi militia's attacks directly threaten US interests, noting that the military leaders view the Houthi militia's attack on civilian facilities in the UAE as a terrorist act.
