Al-Mahra, NewsYemen, private:

The outlets of Al-Mahra Governorate have turned into the first supporter of the Houthi militia due to the flow of weapons, money and Iranian rallies targeting the Yemeni people and neighboring countries.

Securing Al-Mahra Governorate has become more important at the present time than any other fronts. Securing the governorate, the militias will lose much of their strength when the great support they receive from Al-Mahra outlets stops.

The exposure of Iranian support and Omani complicity to Houthi militias through the ports of Al-Mahra Governorate, which is far from the conflict, made many southerners launch media campaigns early to demand the coalition reconsider the ports of Al-Mahra and secure them with national forces and direct supervision from the coalition itself, but those demands did not see the light.

These southern campaigns were met by movements on the ground by the Brotherhood, the other side of the Houthi group, with the support of a sit-in demanding the withdrawal of the coalition from Al-Mahra Governorate.

The Brotherhood stood with everything it had to remove the limited presence of the Arab coalition from Al-Mahra governorate, to clear the air in the governorate after its clear rapprochement with the Houthi group and the alliance of the two groups with the Sultanate of Oman.

The pace of the Omani role in Al-Mahra and Yemen in general increased and its support for the militias began to appear clearly away from the neutrality it was talking about, and Muscat’s rapprochement with Tehran and its reception of Houthi leaders and the secret repeated visits of officials from Iran to Muscat and the repeated support for militias through the ports of Al-Mahra governorate confirm the importance of securing the governorate  On the way to victory over the Iranian project in Yemen.

The Brotherhood turned its media campaigns to Al-Mahra Governorate and began operations to distort the presence of the coalition. The group allocated a satellite channel called "Al-Mahra", backed by Muscat and run by pro-Brotherhood media professionals, dedicated to attacking the coalition.

It seems that the coalition has begun working to secure the governorate and stop the support for the Houthi militia that comes through its ports.

And local media reported that "Egyptian" forces had arrived at Al-Ghaidha Airport in the past few days.

The Deputy Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, "Badr Kalashat," confirmed the arrival of the Egyptian forces to Al-Ghaydah Airport, without clarifying their mission.

In an interview with him on Al-Mahra TV, Kalashat said that Egyptian forces had arrived at Al-Ghaidha Airport, and he was certain of that.

It seems that there is a training mission for the Egyptian forces for local forces that will take over the security of the governorate, according to security sources in Mahra.
