Politicians and activists said that the international community should take into account the evidence that confirms that the Houthi group is terrorist, such as targeting civilians and personalities with booby-traps, marches, ballistic missiles, stealing aid, planting mines in villages and farms, recruiting children, and imprisoning opponents and journalists.
Director of the Giants Media Center, Aseel Al-Saqladi, said via the hashtag (#Evidence of Houthi terrorism),
Everything that al-Houthi has done since the establishment of his Iranian-backed group are acts of terrorism, proven by conclusive evidence. This is because the Houthis use the means of terrorism in war, most notably explosive devices and mines, and they do not have the courage to confront like armies or non-terrorist armed militias.
Adviser to the President of the Transitional Council, Saddam Abdullah, said the actions of the Houthi militia are what classified them as terrorist. The attacks on civilian facilities, such as the airports of Aden, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and others, as well as the Houthis’ attempts to disrupt navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and threatening commercial ships, represent a violation of Navy safety rules.
Journalist Abdullah Al-Sabili said that the Houthi group is no longer able to confront the south, and therefore its choice is to target the southern people with ballistic missiles and drones. That is why the world is not silent about the war crimes that the Houthi militias are doing against innocent civilians, including children and women.
Al-Socotri activist Damad pointed out that everyone is aware that the Brotherhood has sought and is still seeking to strain the situation and create conflicts in the south, in order to ease the war on Al-Houthi, to whom the group handed over the camps and weapons under the watch and hearing of the coalition under arguments that are not accepted by reason or logic.
For his part, the political activist, Muhammad Saeed Bahaddad, wrote in a tweet, the continued Houthi attacks against civilians in the north, targeting civilian facilities and civilians in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, piracy of commercial ships and threatening the safety of navigation in the Red Sea, is nothing but a confirmation that the Houthi militia is nothing but a terrorist organization linked to other terrorist organizations.
And recently, in a report launched by a government committee in Al-Jawf, on militia violations and the human rights situation in the governorate during the past year, the total number of individual and collective Houthi crimes and violations against citizens in Al-Jawf governorate amounted to 36,153 violations.
The number of killings reached 51 in Al-Jawf targeting civilian lives, including 10 direct killings, 11 killings by rocket-propelled grenades, and 20 killings by mines, explosives and explosive devices, including 8 women and 9 children, in flagrant violation of human rights guaranteed by all laws .
on kidnappings, enforced disappearances and torture; The Al-Jawf Governmental Committee recorded 59 cases, ranging from 39 cases of kidnapping and 12 cases of enforced disappearance, and 8 cases of brutal torture in Houthi militia prisons were monitored.
