The leader of the Southern Transitional Council, Wathiq Al-Hasani, said that legitimacy is in an embarrassing situation after the adoption of the UN Security Council Resolution 2624, designating the Houthi militia as a terrorist group.

Al-Hassani considered, in a tweet on Twitter, that this decision drops all agreements with the terrorist Houthi militia as illegal within the framework of international anti-terrorism law.

He said that the legitimacy adheres to the agreements that prolong the war, is indifferent to the suffering of the people and deliberately ignores the dubious and shameful, and the Sweden agreement is only the best evidence.

Al-Hasani explained that the liberation of Hodeidah is the only way out to end the war in Yemen, and requires a courageous decision to be taken away from the conspirators who set up agreements to stop its liberation.

In the context, political activist Muhammad Ali al-Baydani accused leaders of the legitimacy of receiving large sums of money from Qatar, to obstruct Yemeni diplomatic moves and prevent the designation of al-Houthi as a terrorist group.

Al-Baydani said that Qatar pumped billions to prevent Houthi entry into the list of terrorist groups, and part of these sums were provided to leaders in the legitimate government to obstruct Yemeni diplomatic moves.

He added that the other and larger part was going to Britain and America to stop any Security Council resolution.

While journalist Jamal Ghorab said that the UAE's success in adopting Resolution 2624, classifying Al Houthi as a terrorist group, drops Brotherhood allegations about the existence of a relationship between the UAE and Al Houthi.

In a post on Facebook, Ghorab said that the UAE's submission of the draft designation of the Houthi terrorist group to the Security Council and its success in adopting the resolution dropped the allegations of Islah about the existence of a relationship between the UAE and the Houthis, adding: "Lying is a short rope, Islah party."
