Aden, NewsYemen:

A member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Salem Thabet al-Awlaki, called on the Presidential Leadership Council to place the capital, Aden, as a priority, and to reward it for its pivotal role in defeating the Iranian project.

Al-Awlaki said, in a tweet: It is time for Aden to shake off the dust of suffering as a result of the policies that targeted it during the last period, in a manner befitting its place and its pivotal role in all the victories that were achieved against the Houthi militias from the western coast to Shabwa and Harib.

He added that the Presidential Command Council's good intentions begin with Aden and the unlimited support for its development and stability.

In the context, the writer and political analyst, Saeed Bakran, said that Aden is facing an open war with the arms of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and that supporting Aden and the south for security and services should be a priority of the Leadership Council.

He pointed out that al-Houthi, the arm of Iran, is known for its danger and the assassinations it carries out, and its victims go to presidents and leaders, and his danger threatens the region as a whole, not Aden.

Bakran stressed that if the south is not stable and fortified by security, militarily and services, it will be exposed to chaos, so the first tasks of the Presidential Council should be to stabilize the situation in the south and Aden.

He added, a long time was lost, as seven years enabled the Houthis militarily in the north, and it was supposed to confront him strongly before this time, but what happened is the talk about unity, meaning unity and the country does not exist in the first place.
