Aden, NewsYemen, special:

During the last period, the media and social networking sites witnessed a remarkable spread of fake news and rumors targeting the state of consensus witnessed by the legitimacy camp with the start of the Riyadh consultations and concluded with the announcement of the Presidential Command Council with the consensus of all Yemeni forces except for the Houthi group.

The Houthi group’s departure from this consensus made it the first suspect in fabricating fake news and rumors, which is confirmed by tracking and monitoring the source of these news and rumors that began before the start of the Riyadh consultations on the 30th of last March, with the spread of pictures of what was said to be the statements of the participants in the consultations, attached to a document issued From the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Saudi Ambassador.

The publication of these statements caused an uproar on social networking sites, prompting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deny their authenticity, and it later emerged that the first to publish these statements was a fake account run by the Houthi group on Twitter under the name "Ali Al-Nassi".

The matter did not stop there, as the matter was repeated before the conclusion of the consultations, with fake Houthi accounts circulating on social media, fabricated images of what he said were the draft outputs of Riyadh and included a condemnation of the demands of the Transitional Council on the southern issue in a desperate attempt to mix the cards.

The success of the consultations with the announcement of the Presidential Leadership Council prompted the Houthi group to expose its standing behind fabricating lies and rumours, and this was evident in the series of tweets published by Houthi leader Muhammad al-Bakhiti after the council’s announcement, in which he tried to promote that the leaders of parties and political forces were subjected to physical insults by the Saudi leadership to agree to the announcement the Council.

The state of consensus and tolerance expressed in the Riyadh meetings between the opposing forces during the last period, the Houthi group met him with desperate attempts to provoke a dispute, the latest of which was the forging of a document in the name of the commander of the security belt forces, Brigadier General Mohsen al-Wali, addressed to the President of the Transitional Council, warning of the return and stability of the Presidential Council in Aden.

The governor was quick to deny this document, to later find out that the source of publishing this document was a fake account run by the Houthi group on “Twitter” in the name of “Nawaf Hamad Nasser”, to come back to himself and claim later that a hacking operation had taken place on the private phone of the member of the Presidential Council, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, to be revealed a day later. About a failed Houthi attempt to hack the phones of a number of media professionals and participants in the Riyadh consultations.
