A new blow to the Brotherhood... The Presidential Committee assigns the task of securing Alabar road to the leader of the Ataq Axis

 The Presidential Committee in charge of handling the armed rebellion in Shabwa approved a ceasefire with a commitment not to return to violating the security and stability of the province.

The committee headed by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant-General Mohsen Al-Dairi, assigned the task of securing the international line (Ataq-Al-Abar) from Nadah point to Khashem Ramid, to the commander of the Ataq axis, Brigadier General P.S.C. Adel Ali Hadi, to ensure the safety of travelers and commercial traffic on this line.

It also assigned the development of the security plan in the province to the security committee headed by the governor, Awad Al-Wazir, to send it to the head of the presidential military committee for approval, provided that the units responsible for protecting oil companies and facilities continue to carry out their previous tasks.

It also approved the implementation of presidential decisions and the conduct of the role of delivery and receipt between the leaders of the predecessor and successor in accordance with presidential decisions and assigning staff and representatives to those units to conduct their work that did not participate in the events, according to the statement.

The Presidential Committee said in a statement that it had gone to Ataq, the capital of Shabwa, and conducted a number of meetings and contacts inside and outside the governorate to investigate the facts, as it dealt with full responsibility with the events and their consequences, in order to ensure the reunification of the military and security establishment members, especially to preserve the social fabric of the people of the province in general.

It also sought to make agreements with all parties and evaluate the course of events in implementation of the directives of the Presidential Leadership Council to begin its work to resolve and address the Shabwa events and the resulting repercussions, according to the statement.

It stressed the importance of assembling the military and security units that left their camps to suitable and secure camps determined by the security committee in the governorate, conducting the process of human and material inventory and returning what they possessed from their possessions, while assessing the losses and damages they sustained.

It stressed the ceasefire from all sides, and pledged to make reparations and limit the human and material damages, private and public, to consider all those who fell in these incidents as martyrs, to treat all the wounded, and to release any detainees because of these unfortunate events, in reference to the Brotherhood's rebellion.

The Presidential Committee issued a stern warning against not fully complying with the implementation of all the procedures issued by it, and warning all those who seek to breach or fail to implement them, emphasizing the importance of being precise and military linkage in accordance with the military and security regulations and regulations.

While it confirmed the formation of a committee to follow up and monitor the implementation of these measures in Shabwa, it called on all the people of the governorate to stand united with the leadership of the local authority and the military and security leaders in the governorate to enhance security and stability, maintain social peace and spread love and peace in all parts of the governorate.
