The decision issued by the Minister of Interior Ibrahim Haidan to appoint a security official from Marib as a staff for the Special Forces in Seiyun sparked a wave of anger in the Hadrami center, and the south in general.
Hundreds of Tarim's sons took to the streets of the city, rejecting the decision of the Minister of Interior, who appointed a Brotherhood figure from outside the Hadhramaut governorate to an important position in the valley and the desert.
Minister Haidan had issued a decision two days ago to appoint Lt. Col. Marwan Mujahid Al-Sabai as the staff of the Special Forces in the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert.
The people of Hadhramaut confirmed that the Minister of Interior, through his decisions and actions, aims to transfer the conflict to the valley, as part of his efforts to blow up the military situation in the governorate, in order to serve the Brotherhood's agenda.
The Southern Transitional Council in Hadhramaut Governorate called on the Presidential Leadership Council to put an end to the practices of Minister Haidan, stressing that the decision is rejected.
The Hadhramaut Transitional Council said, in a statement, that all decisions to challenge and bypass the will of the Hadramis in managing their military and security affairs in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood are rejected.
He warned the Hadhramaut Transitional Command of such decisions, which he said were aimed at detonating the situation in Hadhramaut, as happened in Shabwa.
The Hadrami Heba Command also issued a statement confirming Hadramawt's rejection of the Minister of Interior's decision regarding the appointment of non-Hadramis in military missions in the valley.
The Hadrami Heba demanded that the Presidential Command Council quickly issue a decision to leave the forces of the First Region in response to the call of reason, and in implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.
Southerners launched, on social media, the hashtag # Hadramout_rejects_the_Minister_of_Interior_decision.
Journalist Yasser Al-Yafei said that it is shameful to appoint a security commander in the valley and the desert, at a time when everyone is demanding that the people of Hadhramaut be able to manage and protect their governorate.
Al-Yafei indicated, in a tweet, that the Brotherhood, through its arms that is still in legitimacy, wants to explode the situation in Hadramout, and they are the ones who cry if the situation explodes there, like what happened in Shabwa.
The journalist, Khaled Salman, considered the Minister of Interior's decision as a provocative measure to insult Hadhramaut competencies, and to deepen the tension there.
Salman said, in a tweet, that the appointment of the Staff of the Special Forces in Hadhramaut Al-Wadi from Sanaa confirms that the Minister of Interior has made his ministry a source of instability and a breeding ground for terrorism.
Activists believe that the recent decision of the Minister of Interior to appoint a person coming from outside Hadhramaut is aimed at conveying a message that the governorate does not have a qualified person to occupy this position.
Journalist Muhammad bin Garnah al-Kindi stressed that Hadramis reject this unfair decision, and these appointments that are trying to empty Hadramout of its cadres and competencies.
Political activist Ammar bin Hilabi commented on the decision of the Minister of Interior, where he said that Hadhramaut has enough security and military cadres for Yemen in the south and north.
Al-Hilabi gave an example with the cadres of Hadhramaut, including the security cadres in the coast of Hadhramaut, in addition to the director of security in Wadi Hadramawt Al-Si'ari, who has achieved great security achievements since his appointment.
While academic Dr. Khaled Al-Shamiri believes that Haidan's Brotherhood decisions are aimed at obstructing the purification of the south of the Brotherhood and terrorism, noting that Haidan seeks to blow up the situation in the south by any means, to defy their expulsion from Shabwa.
The official in the Al-Mahra Transitional Council, Khaled Taha Saeed, says that any decision that comes with partisan dictates is rejected, not only in Hadhramaut, but in all southern governorates.
He explained that the decision of the Minister of Interior contains explicit partisan dictates, stressing that appointing those who fled from their governorates in order to prevail in Hadhramaut is unacceptable and unacceptable.
