The southern writer and political analyst Saeed Bakran stressed that the Brotherhood's control over Marib is the obstacle to the state of consensus and the legitimacy of the Presidential Council, adding that ridding the governorate of them will open the way to liberating the north from the Houthis.
Bakran said, in a series of tweets on his Twitter account, that the road to Marib is the way to the heart of the Iranian sectarian project in Sana'a, stressing that "the Brotherhood's control of the city is the obstacle to the state of consensus and the legitimacy of the Presidential Council."
He explained that the rule of the Brotherhood in Marib and the Hadhramaut desert is the artery that feeds the Iranian sectarianism in Sanaa with life, and leads to destruction, division and hunger in the north and south.
Bakran pointed out that the Brotherhood organization, with Qatari support, carried Marib above its national capacity and local interest, and entered it into national and regional hostilities, and turned it into a bulwark in the service of the international agenda of the organization stigmatized by international terrorism.
He said that correcting the situation in Marib is an obligatory and irreplaceable path for the northern and southern national forces to converge, which see Tehran's agent in Sana'a as a common enemy and sees it as a mortal danger to his destructive sectarian project.
And he continued, "Riding Shabwa from the Brotherhood's military rebellion against the legitimacy of the Presidential Council opened the way to rid Marib of the same rebellion."
Bakran saw, in another tweet, that the liberation of Marib is inevitably coming and will open the way for all national forces to the south and north towards Sana'a, noting that the Houthi threats are the result of a real understanding of the post-truce path.
