Aden, NewsYemen:

The United Nations said: The process of unloading the dilapidated "Safer" tank to the replacement ship will begin next week.

This came in the words of the head of country support and the crisis office at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Janthomas Hemstra, in a tweet on his Twitter account, on Tuesday.

The UN official said, "The specialized support ship (Ndeavor) is scheduled to start the process of pumping oil from the Safer reservoir to the replacement ship (Nautica) next week, as planned."

Earlier, the United Nations announced the arrival of the technical support ship "Nadifor" to the Safer oil reservoir site off the coast of Ras Issa in western Yemen.

It explained, "It will start working at sea very soon."

The United Nations Resident Coordinator in Yemen, David Gresley, said earlier that the transfer process will not exceed two weeks, "unless there are complications."
