أكدت الداخلية السعودية، مقتل جندي من عناصرها في تبادل لإطلاق نار مع مسلحين مجهولين داخل الأراضي اليمنية. وأوضح، المتحدث الأمني لوزارة الداخلية السعودية، أن دورية سعودية تابعة لحرس الحدود بمركز حمر بقطاع الدائر بمنطقة جازان تعرضت ظهر اليوم لإطلاق نار كثيف من مجهولين داخل الأراضي اليمنية. وأشار إلى أن الدورية التي تقوم مهامها على حدود المملكة العربية السعودية مع الجمهورية اليمنية، ردت على مصدر النيران بالمثل، مبينة أن الحادث أسفر عن مقتل جندي وإصابة آخر.
