عبر مصدر مسؤول في الحكومة عن استهجانه وإدانته للاتهامات التي أطلقها عيدروس الزبيدي ضد رموز وقيادات الحكومة الشرعية بالإرهاب. وأكد المصدر في تصريح صحفي لوكالة الانباء اليمنية(سبأ) بأن الزبيدي يمارس نفس وظيفة الانقلابيين في العمل على تشويه صورة تلك الرموز الوطنية، ولا غرابة في ذلك فعيدروس وأمثاله من خريجي الضاحية الجنوبية في لبنان والمرتبطين بإيران يمارسون دورا رديفا لرفاقهم من الحوثيين. وأشار المصدر بأن نائب رئيس الجمهورية نائب القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة الفريق الركن علي محسن صالح يخوض حرباً مفتوحةً بلا هوادة ضد قوى الانقلاب والإرهاب مع فخامة الرئيس عبدربه منصور هادي رئيس الجمهورية القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة ورئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور احمد عبيد بن دغر وكل قوى الشرعية وجميع أحرار اليمن، والأشقاء والاصدقاء يعرفون ذلك جيداً. واعتبر تصريحات عيدروس الزبيدي تعبيراً عن حالة الإفلاس الأخلاقي والقيمي التي يعيشها..مؤكداً بأن علاقته المشبوهه بقوى الانقلاب والإرهاب وولائه لإيران يعرفها كل أبناء الوطن في جنوبه وشماله.
