Shabwa Elite Forces controls ammunition shipment in Ataq

Shabwa Elite Forces on Tuesday seized an ammunition shipment and RPGs on their way from Abyan province to the city of Ataq in the southeast Yemen.
A security official said to Newsyemen that Elite Forces seized a Toyota car at a security checkpoint at the western entrance of the city loaded with a number of machine gun ammunition and RPGs.
The investigations are underway to complete the legal procedures in this case.
In February last year, the Elite Forces thwarted an arm smuggling operation on a truck from Marib province to Ataq city.
