Sea waves throw large numbers of dead fish in Shabwa shores

Sea waves threw on Saturday a large quantity of dead fish on the coastline in Rudum district in Shabwa province.
Fishermen said to Newsyemen that the dead fish spread on the coasts of the district, especially in Balhaf area, and some parts of the Arabian Sea coasts
Fishermen called on the Ministry of Fisheries to speed up the investigation and know causes of the death of a large quantities of fish in Rudum coastline district in Abyan province in the Arab Sea.
According to the fishermen that it is the first time they saw such an incident on the coastline.
Fishermen said the dead fish is likely because of the leakage of toxic substances of the crude oil residues or use of illegal means while catching fish.
