The UAE Red Crescent Authority has delivered medicines and medical supplies for a Returning Hope Hospital in Ramah district in Hadramout desert as part of a plan to support medical facilities so as to improve its services and provide highest quality needs for hospitals and medical centers in Hadramout province.

The medical supplies are part of efforts by the UAE to ease the burden on the Yemeni citizens and provide free medical needs, the director of Humanitarian affairs and the representative of the UAE Red Crescent Authority in Hadramout Hamid Rashid Al Shamsi said.

Al-Shamsi pointed out the Red Crescent provides a package of humanitarian, food and therapeutic assistance to meet needs and help people to cope with the deteriorating humanitarian and economic situation.

The UAE Red Crescent Authority signed two agreements this week to rehabilitate and maintain al-Shihr General Hospital and Blood Bank Center at Ibn Sina Hospital in Hadramout coast as part of UAE efforts to support health and humanitarian projects in Hadramout and various liberated Yemeni provinces.
