Houthi militias loots 25 million riyals from a money exchange on Hail Street

In a statement issued in the capital city of Sanaa, sources in the capital Sanaa said that the militias of al-Houthi, the Iranian arm in Yemen, yesterday night broke into a number of exchange shops under the pretext of inspecting the new currency in continuation of the security campaign launched since the end of last week.

The Huthi militias launched raids on shops and commercial centers in the capital Sanaa under the pretext of inspecting the circulation of new currency notes, and confiscated tens of millions of traders for the leadership of its preventive security, whose officers became thieves who steal people in public, one trader described.

Sources added that the militias confiscated the amount of 25 million riyals of the new paper currency from the center of civilization Exchange in the street, during the raid yesterday night, under the pretext that it is a currency banned from circulation.
