In a first initiative in the United States' history for the Yemeni community in America, cultural, social and scientific societies, institutions and forums organized the first Yemeni parade in New York city on Saturday.
The parade took into New York streets with the participation of young men, women, children, mothers and fathers dressed in Yemeni traditional dress from different regions of Yemen.
"We have never seen the beauty of Yemen before," said the American media commenting on the Parade event.
The Brotherhood attacked the activity under the name of "mixing", mixing between the sexes, the activity was taken a highly extensive debate among members of the community in the United States, the parade supporters, and anti-parade supporters because of religious extremism of the Brotherhood.
