Houthi shell injures three children, mother in Taiz city

Three children and their mother were hit by a rocket-propelled grenade fired by the Houthi militia, the Iran's arm in Yemen on Monday, north of Taiz city, central Yemen.

The Houthi shell fell on the house of Abdulwasea Ahmed AbdulRahman al-Atefi in al-Jashjash neighborhood in Wadi al-Qadhi area, north of Taiz city, local sources said to Newsyemen.

The shell injured three female children and their mother; the house was almost completely destroyed by the Houthi shell.

A local organization observed the killing and wounding of 51 children as a result of the ongoing bombing and sniping of the Houthi militias on neighborhoods and residential villages in Taiz city and Taiz districts.

According to SAM organization, 20 children have been killed and 31 injured by the Houthi militias shelling  in Taiz in the past three months, including eight children shot dead and 27 wounded by Houthi snipers.
