Arab coalition aircraft launched three raids on locations of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, at Taiz International Airport.

Witnesses said that the aircraft targeted Taiz Airport and Tariq Air Force Base by three strikes.

The raids came hours after the coalition targeted military sites of the Houthi militia in the capital, Sanaa.

The Arab Coalition announced that it targeted sites for the manufacture, storage and launch of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles in Faj Atan, Al-Amd  and Nahdain camp in Sana'a.

The coalition spokesperson said that the targeting process came after the capital, Sanaa, became a place to store, install and launch ballistic missiles and drones to attack cities and civilians in a deliberate and systematic manner.

The strikes coincided with the announcement by the Houthi militia of new, locally designed air defense systems.
