A meeting arranges for the establishment of a quality inspection laboratory at the port of Mocha

Today, a meeting was held at the Mocha port, described as important, and devoted to discussing the provision of technical laboratories to examine the quality of goods and foodstuffs imported through the port.

The director of the port, Dr. Abdul-Malik Al-Sharabi, told NewsYemen that the meeting, which was attended by the director of the branch of the Standards and Metrology Authority in Taiz and his deputy, and the presence of the director of health and the director of Mocha Hospital, also dealt with making the necessary arrangements to examine all arrivals and travelers through the port to ensure that they are free of infectious diseases.

He added that the meeting, which was attended by the Coordinator of International Organizations (OCHA) Zakaria Saeed, touched on the possibility of supporting training and rehabilitation programs for the functional staff and assisting the administrative units in the port.

Al-Sharabi explained that a number of employees of different departments have taken over their administrative offices within the port management office to enhance the port's ability to work better.

During the meeting, the necessary minutes were made for arranging work and for joint coordination between the different units.
