Marib, NewsYemen, Private:

Local and tribal sources in Marib Governorate, "northeast of the capital Sana'a", revealed information that "the tribes and fighters of the Arab coalition" are the only force defending the city of Marib and the oil and gas fields in Safer, from the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, for the past seven days.  The past years, and that the so-called National Army is limited to logistics operations.

The sources told NewsYemen that, since 2015, the tribes have defended, and are still defending, vital areas in Marib, including the city of Ma'rib, the governorate's center, and the oil and gas fields in the city of Safer, and they receive great support from the fighters of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia.  While the role of government forces deployed across three military zones: "The Third, Sixth, and Seventh" is limited to logistics only.

added: "The Marib tribes have thwarted the plans of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias from entering the city of Marib and reaching the oil and gas fields in Safer, over the past seven years, despite the presence of experts from Iran and Hezbollah, and the use of modern weapons from drones and ballistic missiles."  , noting that the tribes fight with the doctrine of "land and honor", and take the methods and methods of the militias in the fight, "tribal fighting", as well as using the same weapons and equipment

The sources pointed out that the tribes have the ability to know the ways and methods of fighting the tribes, as they take the same methods taken by the Houthi elements who come from the tribes of the Sanaa Ring, and succeeded in thwarting all the militias' plans to storm the city of Marib and reach the oil and gas fields and vital facilities in Safer.

The sources stated that the secret behind the militias' inability to enter the city of Marib and the Safer fields lies that the Ma'rib tribes are the ones who defend those areas, while the government forces in three military regions failed to preserve the liberated areas in the vicinity of Sana'a and Al-Jawf, and failed to open any  Other fronts surrounded the capital, Sanaa, as a result of the control of the Islah party elements that control the decision-making in those areas.

The sources wondered why the Houthis were unable to enter the city of Ma'rib and reach Safer over the past years, despite the mobilization and the use of foreign experts and the use of various weapons, including drones.  While its elements were able to regain many areas in Nihm and Al-Jawf, and all attempts by the government forces to open the fronts in Al-Bayda, Hajjah and Taiz failed?  The answer is simple, and it is that the tribes of Ma’rib are fighting them in Sirwah, Al-Jadaan, Raghwan, Madghal, Majzar, Jabal Murad and Rahba, and they have succeeded in breaking their thorn until this moment, despite the conspiracies and betrayals they are being subjected to by Brotherhood members in the ranks of the national army.

The sources confirmed that what the government forces are doing in the three regions is supplying the tribes and fronts with weapons and supplies, while positions, ranks and funds granted by the Arab coalition to support legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are seized, while the tribes preserve the coalition’s water in Marib, after the failure of those  Forces from maintaining their positions as a result of the Brotherhood's internal betrayals.

The sources praised the great role of the coalition fighters in supporting the tribesmen and the popular resistance in Marib, which was credited with destroying the heavy weapons of the militias, while the rest of the battles were left to the men who proved their ability and competencies in preventing the Houthis from entering Marib, pointing out that the tribes refuse to fight far from  The fronts and lands of their areas, which made the battles confined to specific areas around Ma’rib.

Over the course of 7 years, the Ma’rib tribes managed to thwart three combat operations waged by the Houthi elements since the beginning of the coup against Marib, the first in March 2015, the second in early 2020, and the third launched in February of this year and is still ongoing.

The Murad, Ubaidah, Al-Jadaan, and Dahm tribes are among the most prominent tribes fighting Al-Houthi in the vicinity of Marib, and have succeeded to date in thwarting all attacks and combat plans that were prepared and managed by operations rooms under the supervision of Iranian experts and the Lebanese Hezbollah.

Despite the numerical density of the Houthi elements who were mobilized to the vicinity of Marib over the past years, the Ma'rib tribes managed through their famous battlefields to break and exterminate many of those crowds that attack in the form of patterns, during which the militias lost dozens of field and military leaders and foreign experts.

The tribes of Ma’rib form a fortified cordon over their areas and lands, stretching from “the Sarawat and Al-Kasarat Mountains and the Ramlet Al-Sabateen desert, from Rahba and Murad in the south to Sirwah in the west, and Madghal and Majzar in the north, and even Al-Alam in Al-Jawf in the east, while the coalition fighters form the aid and air support that hunt heavy combat vehicles, until  It makes no difference in battles on the ground.
