Local sources reported that the new school year began in Ibb and the rest of the governorates under the control of the Houthi militia, under extremely difficult and unprecedented economic, political and military conditions, in a country that has been suffering from a bitter conflict for nearly seven years.

The Houthi militia continues to cut the salaries of teachers and the rest of the state employees for the fifth year in a row, in light of an undeclared war waged by the militia on the educational process in Yemen, with the aim of destroying education and removing generations that are harnessed for the benefit of its wars and sectarian goals.

The Houthi militia imposes large fees on students for their enrollment in government schools, in conjunction with the deterioration of the living and economic conditions of citizens due to the coup and the war in the country.

Parents of students with special needs in Ibb governorate rejected a decision by the Houthi militia to integrate students with special needs into public schools, while activists accused the militia of trying to rob the allocations for people with special needs, which belong to a special fund for them.

Educational sources said that the Houthi militia is depriving people with special needs of their remaining rights, by closing their private schools and pushing them to "governmental" public schools, which suffer from overcrowding and a significant deterioration in infrastructure.

And specialists indicated that taking out the militia for people with special needs, who suffer from mental, visual, hearing and movement disabilities, poses a great danger to them, which leads their families to not fully educate them, because they fear for their children.

The specialists pointed to the integration of this segment at one time and does not take into account the differences in disabilities, some of which need very special care, but the militia continues its violations of all segments of society, including the most vulnerable groups.

In addition, basic foodstuffs are witnessing an increase in prices, namely rice, flour, sugar and oil, in Ibb governorate, as is the case with vegetables, which are bought on a daily basis, as the demand for their purchase decreased, according to sellers in wholesale markets.

On another subject, torrential rain swept away a car that was parked next to the One Mall in the Al-Subul area, west of the city of Ibb, and found it on the opposite side of the Riyadh Hotel.

Activists in Ibb governorate, residents of "Al-Jaashin" area and expatriates, in Dhi Al-Saffal district, south of Ibb governorate, launched a community campaign to build a bridge in Sa'ila Al-Jaashin to avoid recurring accidents and accidents swept away by floods for cars and citizens.

The idea of constructing the bridge came back again, after the horrific incident that occurred Friday, and was circulated by social media platforms, news sites and satellite channels, where a woman and a child died, and a child was injured, while others survived after torrential rain swept away a car carrying them in the "Al-Jaashin"

The sources talked about the overturning of a heavy transport "truck" in the "Smara" area, north of Ibb governorate, and traffic stopped for more than six hours, in light of frequent accidents in the "Smara" area and the rest of the governorate's roads, as a result of the destruction of the roads and the end of the asphalt material and the absence of any role for the concerned authorities.  under the control of the Houthi militia.
