Aden, NewsYemen:

The Southern Judges Club formed a supreme body to manage the judiciary and gradually open courts and prosecutions in the governorates of southern Yemen.

The move came in response to the failure of the regime of interim President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi to respond to the judges' demands regarding reforming and correcting the conditions of the judiciary, and stopping constitutional and legal violations by issuing several violating decisions.

The club said, in an official statement, that "the supreme body was formed to handle judicial affairs in the courts and prosecutions, and partially lift the suspension of work."

The statement affirmed the Southern Judges Club's refusal to deal with all decisions and directives issued by the Supreme Judicial Council headed by Judge Hammoud Al-Hatar.

The statement considered that the inability and failure of the Supreme Judicial Council and its mismanagement of the affairs of the judiciary entrusted to it in accordance with the law confirm that there are parties and parties in the Presidency of the State that do not want to stabilize the situation and normalize life in the southern governorates, including the conditions of the judiciary.
