Hodeidah, NewsYemen:

On Friday, the joint forces dismantled a minefield planted by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on a large area at the eastern entrance to the city of Hodeidah (west of the country).

The dismantling of this minefield comes a few days after the joint forces discovered a Houthi network of mines wrapped in the main water pipeline in the city of Hodeidah in front of the Red Sea Mills Company.

The military media of the joint forces reported that the minefield extends over the entire perimeter of the Arc de Triomphe, noting that an engineering team had extracted and dismantled in the past hours 19 six-inch canisters containing high explosive materials, from the pillars and floor of the Arc de Triomphe.

He pointed out that the engineering team needs time to clear the Arc de Triomphe area, noting that the field is large, in addition to the fact that Houthi militia snipers stationed in their positions east and north-east of Kilo 16 are trying to hinder their efforts.

An engineering team had found a network of mines at the beginning of the week that the Houthi militia had planted in the vicinity of the main drinking water pipeline for the city of Hodeidah, specifically in front of the Red Sea Mills Company located on Sanaa Street, which reveals the extent of its criminality.

It is noteworthy that the engineering of the joint forces and the "Masam" project achieved during the past three years great successes in clearing minefields and networks of mines planted by the Houthi militia in the areas of the western coast, while thousands of bombs still constitute a nightmare for the people of Hodeidah.
