Aden, NewsYemen:

On Friday, an Iranian expert and 9 of his assistants were killed in an air strike by Arab coalition fighters, on the Serwah front in Marib Governorate, east of Yemen.

The Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Eryani, said in a series of tweets on "Twitter", Saturday, that "the so-called Haider Sirjan, one of the Iranian experts, was killed along with 9 others, including Musa Al-Qahazi and Ahmed Al-Sahari, who were impersonating the rank of colonel, following an air raid of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy on the sites of the Houthi militia."  In the Sirwah front in Marib governorate, the size and level of Iran's involvement and its destabilizing role for the security and stability of Yemen confirms.

He added that "Haydar Sirjan works in the field of training and rehabilitation, specializing in mountain infantry," noting that "he is an expert in preparing tactical combat plans and worked as an expert on the fronts of the West Coast until June 5, 2021."

Al-Eryani stated that "Sirjan" was sent on June 7 to the Marib fronts to work in place of the slain member of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Mustafa al-Gharawi.

He noted that Iran's dispatch of hundreds of experts from the Revolutionary Guards militia, the leadership of military operations in the field, and the smuggling of various types of weapons, including ballistic missiles and drones, confirm the nature of the battle as an extension of Tehran's expansionist project in the region and the consolidation of its influence.

The Minister of Information called on the international community, the United Nations and the permanent members of the Security Council to issue firm stances regarding Iran's "blatant" interference in Yemeni affairs, its role in escalating military operations and undermining efforts to calm and establish peace, and its responsibility for continuing the bloodshed, and exacerbating the humanitarian suffering of Yemenis.
